UCC Capture 2009 Junior Football Cup

In a lively game against the Bank of New York, UCC Staff GAA won its first Junior Cup title since being reformed in 2004. After a losing run of six football finals in a row, stretching back to 2005, UCC have now been successful in their last two. This win follows the victory over Project Management in the Junior B Cup Final at the end of last year.

The game was played in Bishopstown and UCC won on a scoreline of 3-18 to 2-10. The Man of the Match Award was presented to UCC midfielder Ronan Power after the game.
